Question: Hello? What is the worst part of your job?

Hi Rose! Good question – worst part is possibly the amount of demands on my time across my teaching, research and admin roles at the University. I have to carefully manage my diary and my time in general, and also make sure that my work-life balance is good. It can be very easy for academic work to take over your life – so I make sure that I take time to ‘switch off’, relax, see friends and family, take holidays etc! My job can be quite stressful, especially if you don’t manage your time well.
